TOKYO , KUALA LUMPUR , MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE

Tokyo

I naively arrived in Tokyo wearing my Silk Hawaiian printed summer dress and sandals only to discover snow and continued cold weather for the duration of my stay.

It is always wonderful to be met by someone at the airport, especially when arriving in a foreign land. I met Edward for the first time. He is a friend of John's (My Australian promoter and friend). He and his wife Hiroko went out of their way and showed me a most wonderful side of Tokyo and of Japan .

We visited many temples and spent a day in Kamakura where we saw a most magnificent Bronze statue of Amita-Buddha. The energy there was overwhelming and I found it hard to leave, but not until I had taken many pictures.

Edward kindly loaned me his warm jacket and I spend an entire day looking for a pair of closed toed shoes to wear as I only had sandals. For anyone who has not been in Japan , a word of warning. If you happen to have an average shoe size – for example a North American size 8, you will find it virtually impossible to find a pair of shoes. A size 8 would be considered a 39 and the largest size all the stores carried was 38 and not too many at that!!

I do love shopping at the best of times and there were many exciting new fashions in the shops. As I browsed thru the racks I noticed a lot of size 2. When I asked what the largest size was that they carried, well, it was size 2. That would have been fine for one half of my body; I only needed to find something for the other half. If nothing else, it was easy on my pocket book. There is quite a fashion statement with the young people here as they are seen in areas posing for pictures.

I enjoyed walking through the streets at night. There were so many neon and brightly coloured signs and big screens with live commercials promoting this product and that. They were all lit up and reminded me of the movie Blade Runner. The city was alive with people and traffic scurrying in all directions.

My room, in the heart of Tokyo , was very small. It was just large enough to accommodate a single bed and end table. There was a place for my suitcase and just enough space to turn around. When I stood with my arms stretched out on either side, I could almost touch both walls! I felt like a little bee in my own little cubicle. I was fortunate to have my own bathroom and a lovely deep bathtub, albeit a very short one.

The cities here are extremely clean and the people gentle, gracious and helpful. Hiroko and Edward were wonderful hosts, opening their hearts to a stranger who is now a new friend. The beauty of traveling that I have found is that I find new brothers and sisters everywhere.

We traveled on the subway and trains to many different locations where I was witness to the most magnificent temples, shrines, and customs.

The cherry blossoms were just beginning to appear. I can only imagine, in two weeks time, the cities and countryside in full bloom and the celebrations that occur.

At one of the shrines, we arrived just in time to see the procession of a traditional Japanese wedding. This is a land full and rich in culture and tradition. Edward shared with me, that there are shrines for everything – even sewing machines.

My time here was short, rich and full. Thank you once again Edward and Hiroko for your warmth and generosity.

I left Japan and flew to

Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia . Now it's HOT!!!

Fortunately I am staying in a beautiful air-conditioned suite in a hotel with an Olympic sized swimming pool. Quite a contrast from my sleeping quarters in Japan .

While here I met with many new and old friends, and connected with my promoter Wendy Tan. She was wonderful and set up seminar and private sessions for me.

It was great to see John again. The last time we saw each other was in 200l. He was promoting me in Australia in August and I promoted him in Canada in September of 2001. His stay was extended as the air travel during the 9/11 came to a halt just as he was to return to Australia .

He introduced me to Melissa, who is a beautiful soul, both inside and out, and now a dear and fantastic new lifelong friend. The three of us had a great time shopping – and wow, there is great shopping in Malaysia ! The size of clothing was still a bit of an issue as the people are so small here, but I did manage to satisfy my cravings and the price was right! (oops – time to send a package home)

While in the elevator I met with Joanna who I hadn't seen since I worked in Sedona , Arizona and stayed at her home. Of course we both squealed with delight and threw our arms around each other, ignoring everyone else in the already crowded elevator. We were all to attend the “Money and You” Seminar. The seminar lasted for four very, very long, intensive and amazing days. It is a powerful program and was attended by hundreds of people from all around the world.

This journey has shown me the beauty, simplicity and love of the many new friends I feel joining hands around the world.

Azeeza, another wonderful new friend and my promoter in Singapore , and I enjoyed many great moments together. Azeeza was assisting in the ‘Money and You' seminar. We shared our room and stayed awake into the wee hours of the morning talking of our many life experiences. The differences in customs, religions and the way females must behave, and at the same time, the common bonds we all carry. I find myself so grateful to live in a country where women have been free to step into their power. And, here they are endeavoring to do so. It has been heart warming to see how many men have and are opening to the process of awakening. There are more men in my classes here than women - the opposite of North America.

From Kuala Lumpur I continued on to Singapore and met up with John and Azeeza. Azeeza is busy setting up my seminars and private sessions. This whole experience has been a tremendous learning opportunity for me. I love the people here. They are awakening and eager to learn. It is an amazing experience to see the transformation in people who have kept themselves humble and who are stepping graciously into their power. There is a long journey ahead for us all.

There are many new, old and wondrous sites to see in this city of Singapore .

Shaik, another new friend, has taken time out of his day to guide me through the city and introduced me to some wonderful new food. While at one of his shops, he made me my very own perfume.

John and I both stayed at a lovely hotel in Singapore , where we were both busy doing our private sessions. And, I must say, welcomed the time I had to enjoy the roof top pool, and enjoyed meeting other travelers.

I was embraced as family and made many new friends. John returned to Australia , while I stayed on in Singapore . Azeeza welcomed me into her home where I then stayed and experienced her way of life. She has a delightful son and daughter who graciously gave up their room for me.

I was excited to hear that Wai Hong, one of my clients, has booked a ticket and will be joining John, Angelo and I in India !

Well, I am now off to Australia where I will stay with John, Angelo and Gayle in Adelaide .
